GPS believes in providing each girl with a superior academic program accompanied by opportunities for personal growth in athletics, the fine arts, community service, and extracurricular activities. Dedicated and supportive faculty work to foster both intellect and character in each girl, focusing on and teaching to girls' strengths.

GPS admits girls with the full range of college-bound abilities. Our academic mission is focused on 700 girls who will go to a cross-section of colleges and universities, and hundreds of American and international institutions of higher learning have been the grateful recipients of GPS graduates.

With numerous National Merit Scholars, perfect SAT scores, and Presidential Scholars, GPS pursues excellence through a meaningful and challenging academic program that develops lifelong learners, confident young women, and responsible citizens.

A commitment to technology, including the use of digital microscopes, enhances the academic program at GPS.
