Call for Nominations:

The GPS Office of Alumnae Affairs accepts nominations for induction into the GPS Athletic Hall of Fame.

The following are selection criteria for a nominee:

  • Any alumna is eligible if she has been outstanding in any GPS varsity sport or has been exemplary in instruction, participation or support of the athletic program at GPS. The athlete should be a graduate of GPS prior to 1997.
  • A nominee who has achieved regional or national acclaim in sports since graduation must have been involved in athletics in some way while at GPS to be considered.
  • Any active, inactive or retired coach may be considered for selection. There is no specific length of coaching time required for consideration, and a coach at any level of instruction may be nominated.

Other individuals who have made a significant impact as advocates and supporters of the GPS athletic program may be considered for membership. Nominations may be made by alumnae or past or present faculty members, and will be accepted through November for the upcoming reunion in April.
