Overlooking the banks of the Tennessee River and part of the prestigious NorthShore community, our 35-acre campus exemplifies what makes Chattanooga—the first-ever National Park City in the U.S.—so unique. 

GPS girls are steps away from community spaces such as the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Chattanooga Public Library, the Riverwalk, Tennessee Aquarium, Coolidge Park, Tivoli Theatre, Hunter Museum of American Art, and more. 


Academic Spaces

From innovative classrooms to state-of-the-art research labs, our campus is designed to support every stage of a student’s educational journey.

Athletic Spaces

Athletics at GPS go beyond competition—they’re about confidence, teamwork, and lifelong wellness. Our campus features premier athletic facilities designed to support athletes of all levels.

With direct access to the Tennessee River, the state-of-the-art GPS | McCallie Rowing Center gives our student-athletes a home to train and build camaraderie with our brother school, The McCallie School.

Recently renovated with new flooring, the main gym gives Bruisers the home court-advantage during basketball and volleyball seasons.

Eight outdoor tennis courts provide room for numerous matches at a time.

Four indoor tennis courts allow for year-round training.

Our beautiful track and field was updated in 2024. 

Performance Spaces

From spotlight moments to behind-the-scenes collaboration, our performance spaces empower every student to find and share her voice.

Event Spaces

Our campus offers a variety of beautiful, flexible event spaces that bring the community together for celebrations, ceremonies, and everyday moments.

The Caldwell Commons is set up with tables and chairs for a luncheon.
