As you explore different options of where your daughter will continue her education, we invite you to the various events we offer throughout the admission season. The events offered, as well as the visit opportunities for students and parents, are an opportunity to engage with GPS faculty, staff, students, and parents and experience GPS in its unrehearsed and authentic state. We believe this is the best way to answer the question of fit and to experience the tangible sense of community.
Below you will find the Admission Calendar which lists all upcoming admission events, student visit days, and other important dates for the current admission season. You will receive formal invitations and more information for admission events throughout the admission process.

Our typical admission period is from August through March. If you are interested in applying to or visiting GPS outside of the admission season, please contact the Admission Office at admission@gps.edu or 423.634.7644

    Admission Open House

Prospective parents are encouraged to attend an Admission Open House. Spend the day at GPS alongside our students and faculty. This is an actual school day—not an event designed to mimic a school day—that allows you the opportunity to see us just as we are, fully explore GPS, and immerse yourself in our culture.

    Admission Student Visit Day

Exploring different options for where your daughter will continue her education is all about finding the school that is the best fit for her and your family. The best way to get to know a school is to experience it.  That's why we encourage every student interested in GPS to spend a day visiting our school with a current student. The girls of Girls Preparatory School are here today because they feel at home here. By experiencing life as a GPS girl, we hope your daughter will discover that she, too, feels at home at GPS.
