  • Camp Kaleidoscope

    Camp Kaleidoscope

    Attention, girls! Do you enjoy science, world languages, dance, art, swimming, and games? If so, then Camp Kaleidoscope is the camp for you this summer! In the morning, experience special learning and fun activities designed for girls your age. Following lunch, enjoy swimming in our indoor pool, play organized games with your friends, and most importantly, experience counselor time. We hope that one of the most cherished memories of Camp Kaleidoscope will be the relationship you form with a current GPS student counselor. As with all of our camps, space is limited, so sign up soon to ensure your participation in this unique day camp, where a girl can be a girl!
    Options: Morning swim lessons can be substituted for one of the camp’s morning rotations for an additional $75. Afternoon tennis lessons can be substituted for one of the camp’s afternoon rotations for an additional $75.

    Are you ready for warm summer days full of fun and adventure? Join us at Bruiser Camp and get ready for the time of your life! Not only will you enjoy fun activities on campus such as swimming, dancing, and crafts, but you will also try your hand at cooking, playing games, and sampling different sports. Some days you will even go off campus for Chattanooga-area adventures, including our fabulous rafting trips down the Nantahala River* or a day trip to Dollywood**!

  • Adventure Camp with Creekside Reining Horses | New for 2019!

    Giddyup, campers! We are off on a week of adventure to include two days at Creekside Stables where you’ll learn basic horse safety, grooming, and tack. You’ll even get to ride a horse, braid its mane, and learn about riding competitively. Think it can’t get any more fun than this? Think again! Hay rides, photo booth, horseshoe painting, and so much more. On days when girls are not at Creekside, they will be on campus at GPS enjoying more games and activities. It will be an adventure you won’t forget!

    How do you spell adventure? H-I-K-E? C-L-I-M-B? Yes and yes, ma’am! Higher Ground USA (based in Rome, Georgia) uses adventure as a catalyst for growth and development. We think it sounds really cool to try new things. Imagine gaining confidence, building friendships, and stretching your comfort zone as you tackle new skills. You’ll be challenged while having fun along the way. On days when girls are not at Creekside, they will be on campus at GPS enjoying more games and activities. Come enjoy a camp filled with meaningful adventures!
  • American Girl Doll Camp

    American Girl Doll Camp
    Grades: 1–5

    Calling all girls who love dolls, crafting, and having fun! Your days will be filled with American Girl-inspired STEAM-themed (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) crafts, challenges, and more. Each day explore new adventures with your doll through various cultures and time periods. Get ready to “Follow Your Inner Star” as you get inspired and empowered through diverse STEAM-enriched activities. Be sure to bring your favorite 18-inch doll companion to camp. Choose which week works for you or enjoy both weeks of our family heritage travels. Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot.
    NOTE: For extended care needs, enroll in Camp Kaleidoscope and join the camp each day following the American Girl session. This activity will carry an additional cost of $110 per session, per child.

    Join us for Balance Studios Shine Bright Summer Camp where worlds of fun and friendship are created through art, yoga, and games. Balance camps encourage you to creatively express yourself and let your truest light shine. In yoga, you will practice basic poses and flows through playful movement and games. In art, you can express your ideas through a variety of art materials, including collage, paint, and three-dimensional form.

    Join us for Balance Studios Spark Summer Camp where you recognize your inner light and let it shine. Through yoga, journaling, and art, you will learn tools to navigate the tween and teen years with gratitude, positive thinking, and confidence.

    The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is led by experienced teachers with strong knowledge in volunteerism, child development, and classroom management. CIT’s will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to be a counselor through hands-on experience and practice by spending a portion of the session learning the skills necessary to serve as a volunteer followed by opportunities to volunteer with Camp Kaleidoscope. Citizenship and leadership skills will be emphasized along with teamwork and gaining real-world experience.

    As a discovery camper, you will have places to go and things to see and do! Learn about Chattanooga through discovery as you visit local parks and spend time singing and crafting, learning fun facts, and discovering fun in your hometown! You won’t believe all there is to see, do, and discover in the Scenic City.

    Show off your budding culinary skills and learn new kitchen techniques in what is sure to be the highlight of your summer. Featuring challenges similar to those you see on your favorite cooking shows, including Team Challenges, Mystery Baskets, and Individual Skills Challenges, this camp allows you to create culinary treats that are both savory and sweet. Together we sprouting chefs will put a fun spin on recipes ranging from appetizers to main courses and everyone’s favorite—desserts!
