Glen Vey

Glen Vey came to GPS in 1988 after a brief career as an attorney. Teaching was clearly his calling—named GPS Distinguished Teacher of the Year in 2006—and, over his 30-year career as a history teacher, Vey taught, coached, advised, counseled, sponsored, and mentored his students and colleagues. Spending time in both the Middle and Upper Schools, he used any tool he could to help girls learn best, from pop songs and Disney movies to props and treats. He even created his own digital textbook, embedding within it links to websites and videos. Vey coached several sports throughout his career and served as advisor of the Honor Council and the highly successful Model United Nations program.
