We know you have options for summer activities, but only at GPS will you find these camps specially designed for all-day adventure. Half-day camps can be enjoyed by themselves or combined with other camp offerings for an all-day experience.

  • Bruiser Camp

    Bruiser Camp

    Are you ready for warm summer days full of fun and adventure? Join us at Bruiser Camp and get ready for the time of your life! Not only will you enjoy fun activities on campus such as swimming, dancing, and crafts, but you will also try your hand at cooking, playing games, and sampling different sports. Some days you will even go off campus for Chattanooga-area adventures, including our fabulous rafting trips down the Nantahala River!
  • Camp Kaleidoscope

    Attention, girls! Do you enjoy science, foreign languages, dance, art, swimming, and games? If so, then Camp Kaleidoscope is the camp for you this summer! In the morning, experience special learning and fun activities designed for girls your age. Following lunch, enjoy swimming in our indoor pool, play organized games with your friends, and most importantly, experience counselor time. We hope that one of the most cherished memories of Camp Kaleidoscope will be the relationship that you form with one of our current GPS students as your counselor. As with all of our camps, space is limited, so sign up soon to ensure that you will be able to participate in this unique day camp, where a girl can be a girl!
     
    Options: Morning swim lessons can be substituted for one of the camp’s morning rotations for an additional $75. Afternoon tennis lessons can be substituted for one of the camp’s afternoon rotations for an additional $75.

  • Adventure Camp

    Adventure Camp

    Campers, are you ready to get out of your comfort zone? Adventure Camp is created just for you!  Embark on explorations that may include hiking on trails, taking in the big view of the Scenic City, and going to areas and locations in Chattanooga that are just a bit off the beaten path. It will be an adventure for sure!
  • American Girl Camp | American Girl Family Heritage Camp | Volume III + IV

    American Girl Camp | American Girl Family Heritage Camp | Volume III + IV
    Grades: 1–5

    Cost: $185

    Calling all girls who love dolls, crafting, and having fun! Your days will be filled with American Girl-inspired STEAM-themed (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) crafts, challenges, and more. Each day explore a new doll and her adventures through various cultures and time periods. Get ready to “Follow Your Inner Star” as you get inspired and empowered through diverse STEAM-enriching activities. Be sure to bring your favorite 18-inch doll companion to camp. Choose which week works for you or enjoy both weeks of our family heritage travels. Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot.
     
    NOTE: For extended care needs, parents may enroll their child in Camp Kaleidoscope. Campers will join the camp each day prior to or following their American Girl session. This activity will carry an additional cost of $110 per session, per child.
  • Cakes + Cookies Camp | New for 2018!

    Cake + Cookies Camp is the sweetest way to spend a week this summer. Led by The Cakery owner and master decorator Debb Fager, this camp will teach you how to make and decorate cakes and cookies that almost look too good to eat. You are in for such a treat!
  • Discovery Camp

    Time: 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (half-day afternoon options available)

    As a discovery camper, you will have places to go and things to see and do! Learn about Chattanooga through discovery as you visit local parks, spend time singing and crafting, learning fun facts, and discovering fun in your hometown! You won’t believe all there is to see, do, and discover all over the Scenic City.

    Get ready to expand your palate and travel the world! Join us as we taste new flavors and create delicious recipes. Learn about cooking around the globe and the countries we visit. You’ll make Italian Lasagna Cupcakes and Chocolate Biscotti from Italy, Coconut Mango Cake from Thailand, Fortune Cookies from China, Sweet and Savory Empanadas from Mexico and much more. Pack up your adventure bags and let’s get cooking!

    JULY 913: CHOCOLATE LOVERS’ CAMP
    Crazy about chocolate? So are we! Join as we make chocolate recipes from A to Z in this tasty camp where we’ll put your culinary creativity to the test. Don’t worry, parents; we do a nice mix of savory and sweet recipes – think Mole Chili and Chocolate Croissants—so everyone leaves happy! And while chocolate is our favorite ingredient of the week, we can’t wait to show you all of the other ingredients we’ll use—from cheese to sweet potatoes and more. Grab your cocoa creativity and let’s get baking!

    JULY 2327: CREATE THE RAINBOW CAMP
    Ever wish you could just taste pink? Or savor some green? Join us in this exciting and color-packed cooking camp where we cook up the rainbow. Using vibrant and delicious ingredients, sprouting chefs are introduced to a dazzling display of naturally colorful foods as we build our culinary techniques. Featuring both savory and sweet recipes, from Hawaiian Rainbow Poke Bowls to Colorful Corn Salsa, Berry Pop Tarts, and Red Velvet Whoopie Pies, every day is a colorful culinary adventure that tastes lip-smackingly good!
  • Sprouts Cooking—Restaurant Camp

    Let’s wok and roll! Create a restaurant with an Asian theme, and immerse yourself in every step of the process. Get ready to explore different Asian cuisines as we cruise through China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and India. Learn a variety of cooking techniques such as steaming, sautéing, chopping, and rolling, as we prepare and perfect dishes like pad thai, sushi rolls, curry, samosas, and stir fry. You will be introduced to a number of different flavors this week, too, such as cilantro, tamarind, turmeric, and more. Get your taste buds ready for this tasty adventure through Asia! At the end of the week, invite a guest to come and eat at your restaurant.
