Renee Romero

Renee received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Mississippi, followed by her M.Ed. in educational psychology. After teaching high school for two years, she moved to Chattanooga where she substituted and tutored for a year before becoming a Learning Specialist at GPS in the fall of 1998. She has served GPS in many capacities and has been involved in various aspects of school and student life. She has served as an advisor for multiple grade levels over the years and is currently a freshman advisor. She enjoys working with students in order to help them cultivate their strengths and develop self confidence for their GPS years and beyond.
