Arts in the Spotlight

The first arts newsletter of 2017 highlights some of our students' accomplishments in the GPS Fine & Performing Arts.
According to Arts Department Head Meg Brock '79, the world of arts helps "young women develop trust and confidence in themselves, seek and venture down paths that seem a little scary only to discover a new part of themselves."

GPS's new Arts News aims to exhibit how this personal development through the practice of fine and performing arts is happening at GPS. Recently, GPS released its first arts newsletter of 2017. The newsletter highlighted some of the recent news and events in GPS Fine & Performing Arts, including articles on the new art galleries in the Frierson Lobby, Terpsichord’s “Love Reflected” concert, GPS’s newest sculpture, and more. Click here to view.

The arts newsletter is planned to be a quarterly edition that serves to communicate relevant information and events for GPS Fine &Performing Arts, as well as showcase the various and remarkable creations by GPS students and their supporters. (1/24)
