The purpose of the Parent Council is to create a sense of community for all parents in order to support the girls and their careers at GPS. Throughout the year, Parent Council hosts and organizes many different events and opportunities for parents, students, and faculty and staff.

  • Golden Buckle

    Shop our new-to-you store, the Golden Buckle, where girls can buy and sell their old uniforms and other GPS apparel. We accept consignment anytime! What a great and easy way to make money back on old uniforms. The Golden Buckle is open the first Wednesday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5:30 p.m. Visit the GPS Parent Council post in MyGPS Resources for more information.
  • Bruiser Eats

    Parents: Take a night off from cooking and order a fresh and tasty meal through our Bruiser Eats program—a monthly offering of delicious, seasonal culinary delights from GPS Food Services Director, Chef Brad.
  • Faculty & Staff Appreciation

    The faculty and staff at GPS work tirelessly for our girls, so we like to honor them with special events and surprises throughout the year, including holiday “Sweets and Treats” and Appreciation Week.
  • Sweets & Treats

    Sweets & Treats is our holiday event to thank our faculty and staff for their service to our girls and shower them with gifts and some holiday cheer.
  • Meet on Main

    Our annual Meet on Main event is an off-campus event for GPS parents to meet and connect with other GPS parents.
  • Daughters & Donuts

    Daughters & Donuts is a fun morning event for our girls and their dads—or grandads, uncles, or other special adults in their lives—to spend quality time together while enjoying yummy treats!
  • Book Club

    Current parents, past parents, and alumnae are invited to join our quarterly book club. Be sure to visit our GPS Parents’ Book Club page on Facebook to view our book selections for this year.
  • Brain Break

    Brain Breaks are special treats or offerings for our girls during exam week. These study breaks are designed to help them keep their brains rested and recharged and their spirits high!
  • Flu Shot Clinic

    Say “Boo to the Flu" and enjoy the convenience of our on-campus flu shot clinic to help keep our girls, faculty, and staff healthy during flu season.
