Parent Council

The purpose of the Parent Council is to create a sense of community for all parents in order to support the girls and the adults who lead them at GPS. Throughout the year, Parent Council hosts and organizes many special events and opportunities for parents, students, and faculty and staff.

  • + Bruiser Eats

    Take a night off from cooking and order a fresh and tasty meal through our Bruiser Eats program—an offering of delicious, culinary delights from various restaurants, caterers, and culinary artists in our community.

    Bruiser Eats dates are Sept. 11 (order deadline Sept. 4), Nov. 13 (order deadline Nov. 6), Dec. 11 (order deadline Dec. 4), Feb. 19 (order deadline Feb. 12), April 17 (deadline April 10).
  • + Book Club

    Current parents, past parents, alumnae, and faculty/staff are invited to join our quarterly book club. Be sure to watch for announcements in Bruiser News for our upcoming book selections.

    Join us in The Ben for the 2025-26 Book Club meetings on September 23, November 18, January 27, and April 7.

  • + Faculty & Staff Appreciation

    The faculty and staff at GPS work tirelessly for our girls, so we like to honor them with special events and surprises throughout the year, including holiday “Sweets and Treats” and Appreciation Week.
  • + Golden Buckle

    Our uniform and spirit gear resale store, The Golden Buckle is located on the lower level of the Middle School building. You can purchase uniforms, sweatshirts, one-of-a-kind items, and other gently used GPS items. Purchases are as-is with no returns and can be made through your FACTS account or by check.

    The Golden Buckle will be open from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on the following 2025-26 sale dates:  August 11, Sept. 10, Oct. 15, Nov. 12, Dec. 10, Jan. 14, Feb. 18, March 11, April 8, May 13.
  • + GPS Dads

    GPS Dads is a social arm of the GPS Parent Council, bringing together fathers and father figures to connect, network, and cheer on all things GPS. From whiskey tastings to casual gatherings and networking events, GPS Dads offers opportunities to build community and share in the GPS experience. Members are enthusiastic supporters of the school, serving as visible champions of its mission and spirit.
  • + Sweets & Treats

    Sweets & Treats is our holiday event to thank our faculty and staff for their service to our girls and shower them with gifts and some holiday cheer.
