Visit and Learn

As you begin the process of selecting the school where your daughter will continue her education, we encourage you to fully explore all options. The decision your family makes for your daughter will have a lasting impact on her life, and the best way to ensure GPS is the right environment for her is to visit our campus, attend admission events, participate in webinars, and hear from current parents and students, as well as alumnae. We are confident that our breadth of programming and thoughtfully designed environment will help your daughter become the best version of herself.

  • + August–January | Parent Conversations

GPS is intentionally and thoughtfully designed for girls in this stage of girlhood. Through a rich, developmentally appropriate and challenging experience with abundant opportunities and dedicated teachers and adults who know and love them, our girls are celebrated and well-prepared for their next steps—Middle School, Upper School, then college, and beyond.

A Parent Conversation is the perfect opportunity for us to meet you and learn more about your daughter’s next steps. What are her hopes and dreams and how can we help her achieve them? We invite you to join your Admission Counselor for a conversation about our curriculum, activities, and school community. During this one-on-one conversation we will also spend time getting to know your family better.

Please note: Parent Conversations can be completed in-person or via Zoom. A completed admission application is strongly recommended before scheduling a Parent Conversation.

This beloved tradition features collaborative pieces choreographed by members of Terpsichord, one of the longest-running modern dance companies of its kind in the country. Throughout her time in the program, each dancer is given the opportunity to lead and share her voice through original choreography developed during a technique, improv, and composition class. Through exploration, active communication, and technical proficiency, girls grow and bond while sharing highly developed and inspirational pieces in front of friends, family, and peers.

    8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Life at GPS looks and feels a bit different than what your daughter might be used to in a co-ed school environment. During these formative years, a girl begins to discover who she is and who she wants to become. She needs a learning environment that will support her well on that journey.

At GPS, an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere allows girls to take risks, try new activities, and gain inner confidence that speaks volumes. Our faculty makes learning fun and engaging while also understanding how a classroom environment impacts your daughter's social and emotional health.

We invite all girls to spend the day on campus alongside current students to gain a glimpse into life as a GPS girl. Attendees will explore campus, attend classes, enjoy lunch, and end the visit with Chapel to see what a typical day is like!
