• A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is an otherwise taxable distribution from an IRA owned by an individual who is age 70½ or older, paid directly from the IRA to a qualified charity. QCDs from an IRA are a popular asset to use when making a gift to GPS—they may enable you to fulfill required minimum distributions and realize important tax benefits while supporting the GPS experience.
