Mary Margaret Shepherd

Mary Margaret Shepherd's most recent teaching experience was in Cobb County Schools, where she taught fourth through eighth grades and served as a science lab teacher. Her career has also taken her to classrooms in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Greenville, South Carolina. Beyond the school setting, Mary Margaret has been actively involved in camp administration at Camp Winnataska in Alabama and in youth ministry at Derry Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania, highlighting her passion for mentorship and community involvement. With two degrees from Furman University; a BA in elementary education and a M.Ed in special education, her lifelong commitment to supporting youth is evident. Outside of work, Mary Margaret enjoys thrifting for hidden treasures, getting lost in a good book, and exploring the outdoors on hikes and bikes. She is a proud mom to two sons—one grown and one currently in college.
