Adina Odom

Prior to GPS, Adina Odom taught high school math courses at Hamilton County Collegiate High at Chattanooga State for 11 years. As the first math teacher on faculty, she played a key role in aligning the mathematics curriculum with college-level coursework and supporting students in their transition to post-secondary education. She was a team member when the school received National Blue Ribbon School designation in 2019-20 and contributed to county-wide curriculum development efforts. She brings to GPS nearly 20 years of experience, teaching math to thousands of students from Algebra 1 to Pre-Calculus. Adina holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from James Madison University, where she also minored in Italian and spent a semester studying in Florence, Italy. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her son, Jack, exploring new foods as a dedicated foodie, and traveling.
