Advisory

Advisory groups meet weekly and seek to provide an opportunity for safe, close, mutually respectful relationships between students, adults, and peers. While scheduled activities provide valuable direction and structure at times, advisory is a relatively unstructured environment where teachers and students can speak and listen to each other as people—apart from the hierarchical relationships of teacher/student. During advisory, students are able to delve beneath the surface to learn more about themselves and the world around them.
