As much as we value all-girls education, we realize the importance of helping our students grow in the ability to communicate well and establish healthy relationships with male peers. After all, single-gender education does not mean single-gender life. What it does mean, however, is that our coordinate program with the all-boys McCallie School
allows both our students and their students to reap the benefits of a single-gender education while still having an abundant number of ways to interact, work side-by-side, and make lasting friendships.
What we've found, and what we hope you will discover, is that when given the chance to grow, learn, and develop in the single-gender setting, adolescents are more free to be themselves and more confident in who they are regardless of whom they are around.
The girls of GPS and their brothers and friends of McCallie School truly experience the best of both worlds.
