Parent Engagement

Generosity Comes in Many Forms

At GPS, we value gifts of time, talent, treasure, and testimony. If you are interested in becoming involved in the GPS community, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities including:

List of 5 items.

  • + Admission Ambassador

Parent Ambassadors provide a unique perspective on the GPS experience for our prospective families. The Admission Office relies on our current parents and students to help attract new mission-appropriate girls and their families to our school. Through a variety of ways, families can be involved: during the school day helping with Open Houses or in the evenings by hosting a Neighborhood Night. To get involved, contact Alice Smith Harris ’03, Director of Enrollment Management at Admission@GPS.edu.
  • + Bruiser Bash Committee Volunteer

Bruiser Bash is our signature event and serves as the culmination of the GPS Online Auction. With a live auction, music, food, drinks, and more, it’s a can’t miss! If you’re interested in volunteering for the planning committee, contact the GPS Development Office at GPSDevelopment@GPS.edu.
  • + Development Volunteer

Contact the GPS Development Office at GPSDevelopment@GPS.edu.
  • + Online Auction Committee Volunteer

Each year, GPS hosts an online auction to raise money for the annual Impact Fund, and parent volunteers are a huge part of its continued success! To get involved, contact the GPS Development Office at GPSDevelopment@GPS.edu.
  • + Parent Council Member

The purpose of the Parent Council is to create a sense of community for all parents in order to support the girls and the adults who lead them at GPS. Throughout the year, Parent Council hosts and organizes many special events and opportunities for parents, students, and faculty and staff. To get involved, contact the GPS Development Office at GPSDevelopment@GPS.edu.
