Lauren came to GPS in 2020, after six years in the Hamilton County School system. Lauren previously served as the  Director of Belonging and Community Engagement at GPS, where she supported GPS’s strategic focus on creating a culture where every member is seen, heard, and valued. She has worked to build strong relationships with all girls, support positive identity development, and helped found many student-led forums on camps. Additionally, she and her colleagues have worked to create a developmentally appropriate advisory curriculum that supports belonging and social-emotional health for all students.

As an alumna and a former member of the Advancement team, Lauren has worked with the Black Alumnae Council to support the Black Alumnae Endowed Scholarship Fund and created many connections between GPS and the Chattanooga community.

Outside of GPS, she enjoys spending time mentoring youth in the community, hanging out with her husband, Isaiah, and two daughters, one in the Class of 2030 and another who will join the future Class of 2035.
