Kelly Ballard

Kelly graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2008. She was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band as a piccolo player, and was selected as the first female drum major of the organization in 2005. She has taught privately in the Chattanooga area since 2010, most recently at The Cadek Conservatory of Music at GPS. She teaches piano, flute, voice, and beginner violin and viola. As the GPS Middle School Director of Band and Orchestra, she has worked with passion and excitement to build both programs to become ensembles of talent, belonging, and progress, as well encouraging the girls to have a love for music and a desire to become the best musician that they can be.
