Kim Leffew, Director of Alumnae Engagement, has dedicated over two decades to fostering community and empowering young women. A BS in exercise science from UT Chattanooga and an MaED in K-12 from Tusculum University laid the foundation for her career, which began in 1999 as a PE teacher and softball coach. Her commitment to excellence earned her the Tennessee Association of Health, Physical Education, and Dance Middle School Teacher of the Year award in 2004.
Kim's leadership extends beyond the classroom. She has played pivotal roles at GPS, including 16 years as Director of Summer Programs, four years as Director of Auxiliary Programs, and two years as Director of the Impact Fund. Most recently, she has excelled as Director of Alumnae Engagement, passionately connecting thousands of alumnae with their alma mater.
A proud member of Leadership Chattanooga’s Class of 2023, Kim actively volunteers with organizations in the community including Downside Up, Inc., Hope's Haven Tennessee, and has been the Captain for the IronKids Race with Ironman Chattanooga since 2019. Kim's dedication to girls' education, sports, and networking underscores her career, driving her mission to keep alumnae engaged and connected to GPS. Her relentless enthusiasm and commitment make her an invaluable asset to the community.
