GPS Rowing at the Secret City Head Race (Oak Ridge, TN).

The GPS Women’s Jr. Novice 8+ finished second (21:59.7), only 6.1 seconds behind first place Asheville Youth Rowing. The next event down the 5000m course for the Bruisers was the Women’s Jr. 8+ with three entries. GPS A finished fourth (20:32.4) behind two entries from Asheville (1st and 3rd) and a second place finish by East Tennessee Rowing Organization (ETRO). GPS B finished ninth (22:10.9) and GPS C finished 12th (23:59.1). The Bruisers wrapped up the day of racing with two entries in the Women’s Jr. 4+ event finishing fifth (22:35.0) behind three crews from Asheville (first, second, and fourth) and one from ETRO (third).
